We are a collection of emerging artists working on Long Island (NY), primarily out of a basement studio with a view of a lovely marsh connected to Mattituck Inlet.

Chris Fanjul, sculptor & potter

Current work uses simple lines and raw textures to emphasize the material qualities inherent in clay and encourage appreciation of our sense of touch.

Corey Solinger, painter & illustrator

Work includes imagined landscapes in mixed media and acrylic, children's illustrations, and greeting cards.

Andrew Sartorius, ceramic artist

"I create sculptural and functional forms whose surfaces draw the viewer in and slow time."

2017 Classes at the Inlet

Time to get your hands dirty... with clay!

Have you been wanting to learn how to make your own bowls or coffee mugs? Do you marvel at how clay can be made into just about anything? Or do you just want a chance to revive some rusty skills and get work fired in an experimental salt kiln?

Inlet Studios, located in Mattituck on the beautiful North Fork of Long Island, will hold classes in both wheel throwing and hand building for kids and adults, beginners and experienced potters. All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment, focus, and of course get a bit dirty!

All classes are held in a walk-out basement studio with outdoor work areas available, and include clay and bisque firing of up to 5 pieces.
